Day one

Started my telecaster build day. I picked out the type of wood for the body and

Fingerboard. I learned about type of cuts, calipers and much more. Took picture of Jerry's woodworking area.   Really cool stuff.

Starting to cut some wood

Today I roughed in the maple neck.  I have some swamp ash that we sized up for cutting. 

I have never used a band saw or much of any kind of saw for that matter.
